Fri, 20 Jan 2012 09:26:44 +0900 Mukaitaki has a very warm, relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and I would heartily recommend it to anyone seeking a ryokan in Aizu. The food an its presentation are beyond compare with delicious flavors and aromas at each meal! The views from our room onto the garden are splendid. The staff are very friendly, caring and extremely welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the baths both private and ladies bath and found the Mukaitaki a very charming ryokan and look forward to returning some day. Just keep in mind taht it is an older building with lots of wood and tatami mats, and we needed allergy pills, being used to completely dead & sterile environments. Thu, 01 Dec 2011 20:11:20 +0900 Homeikan is a fantastic place to stay in Tokyo. It is a beautiful old traditional Japanese inn, all wooden, very unusual. The staff are excellent. and the rooms very comfortable, all with tatami mats, and a lot of character. The only drawbacks are that there are shared bathrooms, in the Japanese style, and the walls are thin, so if anyone near you is being noisy at night, you do hear it. From Canada Oct.
