We had a fantastic stay at Oishiya and enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful Japanese-style room overlooking the ocean. The staff picked us up from the JR station and a drop-off service is also available. The staff were very helpful and the private-onsens are great as you can use them with your husband/wife and they were free to use! The food was delicious and we highly recommend this hotel and the breakfast/dinner package as few restaurants are nearby.

We stayed at Oishiya, Mie Prefecture

Great atmosphere, very relaxing- particularly the bathing/recreation area with massage chairs and the traditional ambience that runs through whole building. Easy to find- guesthouse staff collected us within 10 minutes of telephoning and returned us to Takayama. Fantastically friendly staff!

We enjoyed the stay very much. The room was cozy and comfortable. The food was amazing. Great atmosphere with lots of snow. I would like to come again for sure.

It was an excellent experiences staying at Shibu Hotel on Dec. 25th, 2009. The staff was very hospitable, rooms were spic and span and very cozy. Given a chance, I would like to come back here again.

Stayed at Benten-no Yado Itsukushima, Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Very nice place to stay for a few days. Location is convenient and the ambiance is awesome. The staff are nice and friendly and communicate in english pretty well. For outsiders, one note of concern that they have a common bathroom. A small bathroom with every room would have been nice. a plus is free internet (also wifi) . The garden was also particularly beautiful. Grocery stores are nearby and subway is 5-10 min walk. I would strongly recommend Homeikan to all for a short visit to Tokyo.
