The traditional style rooms were very well equipped and extremely comfortable, especially the futons.

newwakasa.jpgThe New Wakasa Hotel was an excellent introduction to Japanese style living for Australian visitors. The traditional style rooms were very well equipped and extremely comfortable, especially the futons. A highlight of our stay was the meals- the Japanese food was beautifully presented on the table, each night was different and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly even helping with origami. The hotel is well located very close to all of Nara's attractions and transport. A most memorable experience - thank you.

It was the perfect stay!

yamatoya.jpgThank you for the nicest welcome I have had from a hotel. The atmosphere of the hotel is so relaxed and firendly. My room was always made so beautiful and was very clean. I felt safe in the hotel and found the location was excellent. It was very easy to find the hotel and everyone was very helpful. It was the perfect stay!

The family and staff were so warmhearted, friendly and helpful.

Nice little village, beautiful landscape. About Seifu-so there's nothing more to say than perfect!!! The food was delicious, the rooms and the building itself are authentically Japanese and really beautiful. The hot spring was relaxing..... but above all the family and staff were so warmhearted, friendly and helpful. I've never stayed in such a great accommodation before. Thank you so much for everything!!!
