I recommend to have meals - dinner and brekfast were divine.

Hida Gassho-en is definitely one of my favorite places in Japan! The ryokan is very beautiful and a definite must for travellers who want to experience a little of traditional Japan. The staff were very kind and the service was outstanding. I recommend to have meals - dinner and brekfast were divine. Takayama is beautiful in winter but I will be back again Japan to experience every season. I will be staying at Hida Gassho-en.

The character and the atmosphere of Shibu Hotel gracious and special.

The character and the atmosphere of Shibu Hotel gracious and special. The staff picked us up from the station and greeted warmly at arrival. They went out of their way to help us do what we wanted (given time limits) and visit the Jigokudani monkey park. It was quiet time of year so few restaurants were open but we recommend the Sushi place next door. Our room was cozy and good size. I wished we could be here a week instead of only one night!

Very Nice Atmosphere.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and we felt safe in your hotel. And yes, we found the hotel easily. We would recommend this hotel to our friends. Thanks.

Wonderfull place in Bunkyo-ku, a very quiet place in Tokyo.

A weekend away starting from Beijing, with a little daughter of three years old. Wonderfull place in Bunkyo-ku, a very quiet place in Tokyo. Real japanese style and kindness. Daimachi is the most peaceful and traditional of the three.

I will recommend to others. I liked the private bath area.

Great atmosphere. I will recommend to others. I liked the private bath area. There was a safe box in the room. Could be better with more English signs from ferry port and pick-up if possible. Staff were very helpful and nice! We wanted to have an opotion either having the dinner in room or at the restaurant. Nonetheless, it was a great experience! Thanks and regards.

The food is great and the baths too. Especially the outdoor one.

We found Seifu-so on the web site JapanHotel.net and thought it souded and looked great. The ryokan is easy to find - just short minute from the Yudanaka station. We were welcomed very warmly by every staff and also given the information about monkey park and the bus that goes there. The owner even drove us there himself! The ryokan itself is great - clean, comfortable and warm. The food is great and the baths too. Especially the outdoor one. We can highly recommend this ryokan.
